In the event of an incident or claim:
- Never admit liability – it may result in your claim being reduced or denied by the Insurer.
- Always call 000 if you suspect someone has been injured.
- Aside for temporary emergency repairs, do not attempt to repair or replace damaged property without the Insurer's approval.
- Report any instance of vandalism, malicious damage, theft or lost property to police, obtaining a police report or event number.
- Wherever possible, secure property and minimise further loss or damage.
- Retain damaged property for inspection.

In the Event of a motor vehicle accident:
- Do not admit liability - this is for your insurer to ascertain.
- Report motor vehicle accidents to police in accordance with current state regulations. Always call 000 if you suspect someone has been injured.
- Obtain details from the other party or parties such as Name, Address, Phone Number, Licence details, Make and Model of the vehicle, registration number and insurer.
- Provide your contact details including Name, Address, Phone Number, Licence details, Make and Model of the vehicle, registration number.
- Obtain details from any witnesses to the accident including their Name, Phone Number and Address.
- Take photos of all damage of the third party vehicle and your own vehicle. Preferably all sides of the vehicle.
- Take photos of the accident site where possible.
