  • Report any instance of vandalism, malicious damage, theft or lost property to police, obtaining a police report or event number.
  • Wherever possible, secure property and minimise further loss or damage.
  • Retain damaged property for inspection.

In the Event of a motor vehicle accident:

  • Do not admit liability - this is for your insurer to ascertain.
  • Report motor vehicle accidents to police in accordance with current state regulations. Always call 000 if you suspect someone has been injured.
  • Obtain details from the other party or parties such as Name, Address, Phone Number, Licence details, Make and Model of the vehicle, registration number and insurer.
